We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join our remote team. As a Corporate Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of corporate litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal. You will be responsible for conducting legal research, maintaining internal databases, preparing witnesses and materials for case preparation, and compiling discovery. This is a full-time remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies using a variety of tools and methods.
Database Management: Maintain internal case databases, ensuring all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible to team members.
Case Preparation: Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials. This includes drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Witness Preparation: Coordinate and prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
Compile Discovery: Assist in the collection, review, and organization of electronic and paper discovery materials.
Client Communication: Facilitate client communication and correspondence, updating clients regularly on case status.
Case File Management: Keep accurate and organized records of case files, legal documents, and correspondence.
Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative tasks such as calendaring, data entry, and filing.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
A minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience in corporate litigation.
Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures, rules, and regulations.
Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with case management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
