MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed (or willing to be licensed) in TN.

Compensation: $150 - $180 per hour plus bonus opportunity

Position Summary:

• Psychiatrist will see about 1-2 patient encounters per hour
• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), Saturday and Sunday
• Minimum of 1 weekend per month or up to 4 Weekends available each month
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications 
• Perform psychiatric hold evaluations in ED as needed
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if Psychiatrist already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions. Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications 
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in TN
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs
