Business Operations Specialist
Client Retail Services (CRS) is a leader in the retail credit card industry. The CRS Business Operations Department is searching for an individual with experience in managing a highly controlled governance committee. The role requires an understanding of the obligations of a highly structured governance forum and demonstrated ability to document minutes and follow-ups with 100% accuracy. This position is responsible for working across Client, including Branded Cards and Mortgage to complete the monthly reporting requirements. This person will also assist in the preparation of monthly metrics for Business Operations utilizing advanced Excel capabilities. This positon works closely with all levels of leadership within CRS, Branded Cards, Mortgage, Legal, ORM and ICRM as well as teams across Business Operations.
Key Responsibilities & Collaborative Points
• Manage, update, aggregate, record minutes and store documents in accordance with the Add On Products Committee procedure while working with business teams to ensure completion
• Act as a contributor for the BIC report
• Lead preparatory and governance committee meetings
• Coordinate materials for voting, in conjunction with the monthly forum or off cycle (ad-hoc)
• Follow up with the business teams for incomplete or delinquent data/documents, follow escalation procedures as needed
• Manage SharePoint
• Support internal and external audits and walk-throughs as required
• Ensure understanding of and adherence to the regulatory requirements for the APC Governance Committee
• Support reporting needs within the department Business Operations reporting including Asset Sales, Acxiom and Statement dashboards; build other dashboards as required.
• Establish reporting and analytics for EPIQ return mail and escheatment process
• Develop strong, trust-based relationships with critical internal business partners
• Identify opportunities for process and control improvements and efficiency gains
