Highlights Healthcare is seeking an experienced Support Desk Analyst to join our corporate support team. You will be part of a team responsible for applying technical knowledge to troubleshoot, resolve and recommend IT solutions to ensure that all aspects of the IT infrastructure are running smoothly and that all solutions are implemented effectively. Professionalism and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users are critical. We are looking for a person with a great attitude and solid communication skills.

Job Overview

1. First responder for resolving tickets via phone and ticketing system

2. Help Desk Support – Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner, work with internal employees assisting them with technology needs and issues

3. Deployment of Laptops and Tablets

4. Troubleshooting software

5. Repair of devices

6. Removal of end-of-life devices

7. Represent themselves and the company in a consistent, professional manner

8. Handling of logistics of hardware to and from employees

Minimum Qualifications/Education Requirements

  1. Experience in IT support or related field not required but preferred
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. Ability to learn and document processes of third-party applications
  4. Be a self-starter, eager to learn and get involved in the troubleshooting process

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Microsoft Windows 10/11
  2. Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  3. Android tablet/Soti Mobi
  4. Networking/Cloud Solutions
  5. Telecom/VOIP – RingCentral/3CX
  6. Technical Ticketing systems
  7. Healthcare related Information Technology
  8. Dependable – more reliable than spontaneous
  9. Autonomous/Independent – enjoys working with little direction
  10. High stress tolerance – thrives in a high-pressure environment
  11. Routine setup and repeated processes that work for the employees’ needs

Work Environment

  1. Must be dependable and flexible in work schedule.
  2. Must comply with harassment and discrimination policies.
  3. Must foster good working relationships.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  5. Ability to multitask and balance workload according to priority
  6. Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  7. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  8. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check as well as a drug/alcohol screening upon hire and periodically there after.


Physical Environment

  1. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users within various business environments
  2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance and must be able to spend a prolonged amount of time standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
  3. Must possess the ability to deal with stressful situations
