Are you ready to join us?</p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p>As a Business Controller you work closely with the finance and business management for your scope. You not only play a critical role in supporting key management decisions (translating business topics of a broad scope into financials and also challenge them). You are also responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis based on business information. You are in regular contact with other finance colleagues: the local & global accounting team, other controllers, the billing and invoicing teams, and have intensive interaction with the business managers. Combination of this is absolutely key to be successful in this function.</p><p>We offer you a very dynamic working environment, while taking up different challenges, close to the heart of the company and with a good balance between strategic view, routine operations and ad hoc work.</p><p><strong>Your main areas of responsibility are:</strong></p><ul><li>Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions in financials and use the financials to help steer in the right direction</li><li>Prepare a variety of financial analyses and presentations independently, providing information to executive Management</li><li>Understand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business where needed</li><li>Based on financials and business discussions, manage risks and opportunities together within your business</li><li>Owner of the budget, forecast and long-term planning of your scope</li><li>Story-building of actuals and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scope</li><li>Interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams </li><li>Provide ad hoc analysis e.g. business cases to support management with financial decisions</li><li>Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes</li><li>Participate in local and global initiatives, this may request occasional travel</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Master degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similar</li><li>You have 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, controlling experience is a must</li><li>You are pro-active, have a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude</li><li>You have strong communication, problem-solving skills, are able to plan effectively and feel comfortable to take critical decisions</li><li>Affinity with both business and finance</li><li>You have strong analytical and numerical skills </li><li>You are fluent in spoken and written English</li><li>Knowledge of the French language would be a plus.</li><li>Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Knowledge of SAP4Hana and Power BI is a plus </li></ul><p><strong>Offer</strong></p><ul><li>You will be working in a dynamic, international and fast growing company with ambitious plans for the future – on-the-job training in a role that offers opportunities for growth</li><li>You will not only work in a large Finance department with many experience and knowledge but as well very close to the business </li><li>The working culture at SD Worx is flexible, hands-on and pragmatic with a flat organization structure and short decision lines</li><li>Occasional travel is requested to be close to the business and/or Finance</li><li>We offer a motivating salary package with fringe benefits, in accordance with your knowledge and experience</li><li>Whether you want to become an expert in your field or to expand your knowledge more horizontally, there is always room to grow within SD Worx!</li></ul><p><br></p><p>SD Worx lives diversity in the workplace.
