Office Deputy

THE MCPHERSON SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT is seeking a Full-time Office Deputy at the Law Enforcement Center.

You will first need to complete the Official County application form in order to be considered for hire at www.mcphersoncountyks.us.

Requirements include: High School Diploma or GED; Driver's License, current citizen of the US, and at least 18 years of age, current knowledge of office practices and equipment, and computer skills.

Position involves maintaining files, data entry, processing various reports, and assisting with regular daily office deputy duties as needed. Excellent written communications, keyboarding skills and knowledge of legal terminology are preferred.

Beginning wage: $17.92. Wage increase after successful completion of 6-month introductory period, then annually according to County pay scale. County benefits apply. EOE.
