DETAILS: Cognos Analytics Administrator Title: Cognos Analytics Administrator LOCATION: Nashville, TN (Metro) ENVIORNMENT: HYBRID (4 days per week in office, 1 day remote) COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $110,000 Base Salary The IBM Cognos Analytics Analyst/Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics. They collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create reports and dashboards, ensure data accuracy and security, manage the platform, and provide technical support to end-users. The role requires staying updated on trends and technologies in the field of business intelligence and analytics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Cognos Analytics Administrator - Responsible for all technology infrastructure upgrades (applications, networks, operating systems, databases, cloud solutions, etc.)
- Utilize IBM Cognos Analytics to develop tailored business intelligence solutions.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and analyze data requirements to establish the optimal approach for report and dashboard development.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers and analysts, to ensure solutions satisfy organizational demands.
- Establish and maintain data models and metadata to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
- Create custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards, optimized for large data sets and high performance.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing IBM Cognos Analytics solutions, troubleshooting issues as required.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Facilitate training for business users to enable them to develop their own reports and dashboards

REQUIREMENTS: Cognos Analytics Administrator - BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience designing and developing custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards in Cognos Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or other programming languages
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Capable of communicating effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
