About the apprenticeship
You will study towards a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship over a period of 18 months. This will be delivered via online learning from a national apprenticeship provider.
When not studying, you will work alongside our experienced and professional team delivering a real role job as a Sprinkler Sales Estimator. You will need to manage your time and commitments well to ensure that you are able to complete your assignments whilst delivering a highly valued role.
The Training Plan
You will have a structured development pathway which will include within the first 3 months rotations within Hall & Kay to learn about the organisation and various teams. You will observe and take notes at meetings giving you a good understanding of the projects we deliver.
Between 3 & 9 months we will develop your learning of the industry standards relating to Sprinklers providing you with the technical knowledge to understand Sprinkler design. You will attend internal and external meetings and learn how to carry out handover contracts.
Between 9 & 12 months you will attend meetings to discuss project specific costings, issues and closing the deal with Clients (alongside your knowledgeable colleagues). You will then be able to deal with some basic technical queries and develop value engineering options for clients to aid winning future projects.
After 12 months you will continue your development learning about the in house administration systems and researching enquiries as they are received. You will receive some industry specific training for BSEN 12845 and LPCB Design Training (Basic/Intermediate/Advanced).
