Position Overview: The Contract Analyst is part of the Procurement unit that is a vital member of multiple project teams within NYCEDC’s Contracts’ department. This individual will work with project managers and other staff to provide critical project support, operational tasks, training, and will work on special projects with senior departmental staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guide internal project managers through necessary procurement processes for public solicitations
- Coordinate all project kickoff meetings with internal departments for public solicitations
- Work with project managers to set procurement timelines for all public solicitations
- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders on state and federally funded solicitations
- Review and submit all advertisements for public solicitations with the appropriate trade publications
- Review all documents submitted by project managers for public solicitations for accuracy
- Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining procurement related content on NYCEDC’S internal and external website
- Responsible for receiving all responses to public solicitations, ensuring that all required documents including signed addenda are received and distributing the responses to the appropriate staff in a timely manner
- Responsible for collecting, reporting, and submitting the Doing Business Data Forms to MOCS
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Maintain and update the procurement department’s databases including NYCEDC’s Vendors List, and Vendor Outreach.
- Archive internal documents and tracking and maintaining archived documents
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred 1-2 years’ experience in procurement
- Demonstrated communication skills including, verbal and written skills
- Detailed oriented; demonstrated analytical skills regarding document review, and oversight.
- Professional demeanor and comfort working in a team environment.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsibility in achieving goals; ability to manage deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Enterprising, resourceful, and adaptable with a results-oriented approach towards work
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and competing priorities.
- NYC residency is required within 180 days of hire.
Salary Range
$67,000—$69,000 USD
