Pay Range: $20.44/hr. – $25.55/hr.

Workdays & Hours: This position is with a 24-hour 7-day week operation, that includes weekends and holidays.
This position will be assigned to the 3rd Shift, 11 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. The position is subject to working rotating shifts (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.; 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.), Weekends, Holidays, and overtime as necessary. Shift Differential Pay: $0.75 per hour for 2nd Shift and $1.50 per hour for 3rd Shift. The incumbent is expected to report to work during inclement weather conditions, working WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS and OVERTIME as necessary.

A Sr. Data Reporting Technician position is available with The City of Fort Worth Police Department – Data Reporting Unit. This position will contribute to the City’s strategic goals, mission and vision by supervising and coordinating service program activities and operations in support of the Police Department. Coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public and provides staff assistance.

Final candidates selected for hire in the Police Department will be subject to a fingerprint/criminal history background check and polygraph examination. Applicants must not have used marijuana during the previous two (2) years, nor illegally used any controlled substances within the last ten (10) years.
Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
