How will you contribute to Skroutz vision

As a Marketplace Operations Lead at Skroutz, you will play a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency, improving reliability, and accelerating service for our users and sellers. In the Marketplace Operations team, you'll lead the Delivery stream in terms of strategy and performance, with a focus on analyzing opportunities, monitoring performance, taking action, ensuring a seamless user experience, and establishing procedures and policies to meet our objectives. You will collaborate with various teams and external partners, providing innovative solutions to some of our most challenging problems at both strategic and operational levels.

What you will be doing

• Strategy: Develop and implement excellence strategies, contributing insights for continuous improvement.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance against established and new KPIs, taking proactive measures to address deviations and maintain high reliability.
• Policy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine policies aligned with Skroutz's user-centric approach.
• Initiative Execution: Drive initiatives to improve reliability and performance, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential bottlenecks, presenting findings to support data-driven decision-making.
• Opportunity Identification: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize processes, staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
• Problem Solving: Effectively frame complex problems, providing clear context and sizing for informed decision-making by product teams and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with merchants, third-party logistics, and internal teams to foster strong collaborative relationships, ensuring alignment with Skroutz's goals.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in Operations, Planning, Consulting, or Analytical roles
• Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operational Research, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Proven track record in project management
• Excellent organizational skills
• Sense of ownership and autonomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Passion for technology and innovative mindset
• Humble, eager to learn, and willing to roll up sleeves when necessary
• Proficiency in Greek: the role involves regular interactions with Greek-speaking stakeholders, and a strong command of the Greek language is essential to ensure effective communication
