Senior Product Manager

What you will be doing:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development of our next-generation platform and deliver a world-class developer experience.

Behind every great product is a great platform: scalable, secure, and flexible. We are building a multi-cloud platform, with low latency and high throughput. We have the best engineers to build it and we need a high calibre product manager to lead the way.

Working alongside the principal engineers and wider platform squads, you will help turn the architectural vision into reality, as well as bring the voice of our largest and most demanding customers to the table. You will own the end-to-end developer experience, making sure that integrating our platform is as easy and straightforward as possible.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

• Work with the engineering director and principal engineers in developing the technical roadmap for our new strategic platform and coordinate delivery
• Identify all the non-functional requirements of our clients large and small, converting these to prioritised asks for the squad
• Obsess about developer experience to ensure that customer development teams are delighted in integrating our platform
• Evangelise your product strategy internally, aligning your team & key stakeholders on the mission, ensuring the client value the product is delivering is fully realised across the organisation 
• Work closely with the wider product team and stakeholders to align on product releases and cross team priorities
• Measure product performance and track KPIs to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement

About you:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will

• Demonstrate success in delivering market-leading products driven by client need
• Show empathy with clients in a B2B context and experience of the operating in an Enterprise environment
• Have outstanding written and verbal communication of complex topics to a wide audience
• Have experience of financial services or other highly regulated environments
• Show ability to operate in a technical environment and able to challenge and understand complex technical requirements
• Have excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills 
• Have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels 
• Have previous Product Management experience in a rapidly growing business where ambiguity is normal

Nice to haves:

• Previous experience working on building new event based platforms
