The next phase of Thinkific is all about helping our course creators sell more and generate more sales on Thinkific Commerce (TCommerce). The Creator Success Strategist  will work with customers, Customer Success Managers, product marketing, product, and the sales team to motivate customers to use TCommerce and lead the process of switching them over. You will work with top customers to understand their objectives for the next 12+ months and identify alignment with TCommerce, the barriers to Creators using TCommerce, resolve them, and create mutual action plans. Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Partnerships, this person works with Support & Payments Product Managers and the engineering team to prioritize feature development and understand customer requirements.

Your goal will be drive the adoption of TCommerce and reach new records of GPV (Gross Processing Volume) in Thinkific Payments and own the customer communications for future Commerce products. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

    • Understand what they are working to accomplish
    • Establish the value of moving to Thinkific Payments
    • Invite them to activate, handle and overcome objections
    • Lead the customer to convert to Thinkific Payments
  • Work with Customer Support and Customer Success to create resources, training programs, incentive structures, and provide customer support for the adoption of TCommerce
  • Go above and beyond to prevent Creators from churning

  • Collaborate with other Commerce leaders and the Manager, Strategic Partnerships on initiatives to help course creators sell more

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Has 5+ years in a complex software sales environment selling deal sizes of $10,000 or greater
  • Can articulate how to understand a customer’s needs, establish the value of a product and align them with the customer’s needs, and then lead a customer to adopt a product or execute a sale
  • Demonstrate clear, polite, and persuasive communication via email, in video and in person
  • Demonstrate the capacity to spend considerable time making outbound phone calls and emails to generate sales

These things would also be nice, but we think you could learn them on the job:
