Join our team – we promise, it’s a decision you won’t regret.<br></p><p>Position Overview:</p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of new home construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>1. <strong>Project Management</strong>: Manage all phases of new home construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.</p><p>2. <strong>Supervision</strong>: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.</p><p>3. <strong>Quality Control</strong>: Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards and customer expectations.</p><p>4. <strong>Schedule Management</strong>: Develop and maintain project schedules, including milestone deadlines and critical path activities, and proactively identify and address potential delays or issues.</p><p>5. <b>Trade Partner Management</b>: Source, select, and oversee Trade Partners to complete construction tasks.  </p><p>6. <strong>Communication</strong>: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project stakeholders, and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns, and facilitating effective communication channels.</p><p>7. <strong>Safety Compliance</strong>: Enforce company safety policies and procedures, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure all work activities comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.</p><p>8. <strong>Problem Solving</strong>: Anticipate and resolve project-related challenges, conflicts, and issues in a timely and effective manner, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.</p><p>9. <strong>Documentation</strong>: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, change orders, as-built drawings, and other relevant records, to ensure accountability and transparency throughout the construction process.</p><p>10. <strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>: Stay current with industry trends, construction techniques, and building codes, and actively seek opportunities to enhance construction processes, efficiency, and quality.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field <strong>(preferred).</strong></p><p>- 5+ years of experience in residential construction management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.</p><p>- Current or previous experience with purchasing and/or estimating.</p><p>- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations related to residential construction.</p><p>- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.</p><p>- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.</p><p>- Valid driver's license</p><p>Benefits:</p><p>- Unlimited Paid time off</p><p>- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.</p><p>- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance offerings.</p><p>- 401(k) retirement savings plan.</p><p>- Professional development and training opportunities.</p><p>- Fun and supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.</p> •
