We are looking for an established Institutional Sales Specialist with experience in credit sales to help cover and prospect institutional clients in Italy. Over time, this role may potentially grow into other markets in Southern Europe (though you will be working from our London office). While we are looking for someone with a strong credit sales background, you will be developing our client relationships across our entire range of product types, including our ETF and listed derivatives businesses.
You will play a formative role in helping our team develop a strategy to expand our coverage in the region. We’ll lean on your deep knowledge of the market and industry – in Italy in particular – as we identify potential clients, prioritise opportunities and engage them.
You’ll also collaborate with various teams across Jane Street (including Fixed Income Trading, Marketing, Strategy and Technology) to deliver client feedback that may inform how we further develop our offerings in credit bonds trading.
As you engage with our institutional clients on their investing goals and trading styles, you must have a full understanding of our trading expertise, execution services and the range of products we trade – and look for opportunities to cross-sell with clients when appropriate.
This is a people-focused role that relies heavily on building and maintaining relationships. You’ll be expected to join client meetings, keep clients and prospects engaged and represent our firm at conferences and events.
