We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial and performance management activities within DCP. You will support business planning, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting and also support in the rollout of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) IT solution.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and assistance to budget holders during during the business planning process.
- Review and validate budget data from units, identifying inconsistencies.
- Monitor approved budget allocations, revenue, expenditure and highlight variances.
- Support working capital activities such as, cash forecasting and debt optimization.
- Conduct Internal and External benchmarking exercises.
- Prepare initial drafts of relevant periodic and ad hoc business performance reports.
- Support in the analysis of operational results and making recommendations to management.
- Support in the rollout of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) IT solution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CFA, CPA or equivalent.
- 15 - 21 years of progressive financial management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices, including financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
