Position Summary

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist that will report to the Director of People Operations, Programs and Total Rewards. A successful candidate will be keen on attention to detail ensuring that employee records and processes are well documented and that our employees have access to the information they need when they need it. You will learn and be mentored by a brilliant, fun and world class team of analysts that build People information systems workflows and will teach you to perform systems tests, quality assurance and how to apply AI to better serve our employee population. In addition you will have the opportunity to learn about all areas of people operations and rewards including: setting fair and competitive compensation for our employees; ensuring that our benefits and programs meet the needs of our global team; building tools for employee self-service and more! This is a critical support role that will learn about our programs & policies and ensures that our team continues to scale via documentation, automation and self-service. What You’ll Do:

  • People Record Keeping: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection and other regulations. 
  • Manage People Operations Help Desk: Respond to employee questions, liaise with subject matter experts to provide timely responses and then ensure our knowledge base is complete so employees can find these answers/self-serve in the future. 
  • People Software and Systems: Utilize various People software and systems for data entry, reporting, and record-keeping. Ensure data accuracy, troubleshoot system issues and recommend improvements.
  • Employee Benefits: Support and assist employees with benefit inquiries and enrollment, including health insurance, retirement plans and other benefits. Provide assistance and own monthly benefits billing review and handoff to AP.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document existing processes in wikis and policy documents so that AI assisted systems can scale our People Help Desk, providing global employees information at their fingertips. You will also help prepare People-related reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • People Communication: Assist in the distribution of People policies, notices, and updates to employees. Promote People initiatives and events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/People, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Prior experience in People Operations or a similar role is advantageous. 
  • Knowledge of People policies, procedures, and employment laws is beneficial but not required. 
  • 2+ years of experience working in an administrative support, HR generalist or HR specialist role.
  • Bachelor's, or equivalent industry experience. 
  • Self-starter with ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.  
  • Self motivated and enthusiastic about expanding skills and knowledge in the Human Resource field.  
  • Strong desire to continuously improve and learn new technologies. 
  • Ability to embrace change with a great attitude and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Efficient, thoughtful, and empathic communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Possess a positive, can-do, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow-through.
  • Nice to have, though not required, experience with People systems QA and testing.
