Position : Real Estate/Appraisal Administrative Assistant

Work Hours : Monday-Friday, flexible 8 working hours with 4 hours overlap to communicate with the client; Eastern time zone

Pay Range : $ 800 - 1,200/month

Compound Property Group (CPG) is a group of companies which offer a variety of services related to the property in Bermuda. The core leadership consists of Daniel Woods and Robert Richardson who founded CPG in 2023 with the goal of becoming the premier hub for property services and management in Bermuda. The two partners in addition to their consulting team have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all things property and are eager to combine their expertise and resources into this venture.



Duties and Responsibilities:

Appraisal Analyst Experience:

  1. Market Research:
  • Conduct in-depth research on local market trends and development information.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the real estate industry. 

Property Information Gathering:

  • Collect property-specific details such as sale histories, site dimensions, and property taxes.
  • Perform thorough financial and valuation analyses for appraisal purposes.

Deal Underwriting:

  • Evaluate new deals and investment opportunities through underwriting processes.
  • Review industry market data and benchmarks for informed decision-making.

Report Writing and Proposal Formatting:

  1. Appraisal Reports:
  • Create detailed and accurate appraisal reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency for data analysis and report formatting.

Business Plans and Financial Forecasts:

  • Prepare business plans and financial forecasts to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive data entry and collection.

Admin and Bookkeeping Assistance:

  1. Inspection Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and schedule property inspections in a timely manner.

Quotes and Invoices:

  • Prepare quotes and invoices for clients.

Payroll and Taxes:

  • Assist in payroll processes and collaborate with the finance team on tax-related matters.

Financial Reports:

  • Prepare and generate financial reports to provide insights into company performance.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] is beneficial.
  • Proven experience in real estate or construction administrative roles.
  • Appraisal analyst experience with a strong understanding of local market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with QuickBooks for bookkeeping.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Appraisal or report writing experience
