Telehealth Psychiatrist 

MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clock telepsychiatry and in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. We are searching for a BC/BE Psychiatrist licensed in MA to provide Consult-Liaison Psychiatry (Inpatient Medical/Surgical consultation) to our clients in MA. 

Compensation: $150 - 200 per hour on average

Position Summary: 

• Psychiatrist will see approximately 1 patient encounter per hour
• 12-hour shifts between (7a-7p)
• An average of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week options available
• Respond immediately to consult requests received during a scheduled shift
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring
• Utilization of the EHR
• Must be actively licensed in MA
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions
• Admission and discharge information to follow
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable.
• CPT Coding required
• 40 Consults daily is expected across multiple physicians 
• MindCare utilizes productivity compensation models - multiple options are available

Qualifications:  

• Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted license in the state of MA
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry   
• Valid and unrestricted DEA   
• Required to be well-versed in telemedicine technologies and EHR programs 
• PMHNP Supervision/Collaboration may also be requested
