Midwife or WHNP (Korean or Spanish Fluency)

About This Role

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to support our members through virtual care services. 

As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to meet with members across the world, scaling impact and healthcare access nationally. You will be joining a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties to deliver holistic, high value care.

What You'll Do:  

• Provide virtual care and support to adult members via 10-minute video consults and asynchronous messaging around:
• Adolescence to menopause 
• Provide same care as OB-GYNs, except no surgical care
• Educate and help with decisions on all labor and delivery options at hospital, birth centers or home births
• Postpartum care, including breastfeeding, vaginal discharge and incontinence issues
• Perinatal mood disorders, such as Postpartum Depression/Anxiety.
• Capture encounter summary documentation in our practice management system, MPractice
• Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals and follow-ups
• Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model, providing culturally humble care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone

Who You Are: 

• Must be certified as a nurse-midwife (CNM) or WHNP
• Must be residing in the United States
• Must be fluent in Korean or Spanish 
• Possess the ability to provide direct member care for 1-2 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor role (1099 position)
• Have 2+ years of prior experience in the tele-health space. Must be comfortable providing care through a digital health platform
• Must own an iOs device (iPhone or iPad) that can be updated past iOs16 and have access to a laptop computer with strong and reliable internet access 
• Must be passionate about women’s and family health

This is a 1099, contract position. For candidates in NY, CO, or CA, the approximate pay rate is $67 per hour. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, specialization, and contract type
