At API Builder, our vision is to transform the way people Design and Prototype their APIs. We are one of the New Product Incubation teams within Postman, trying to bring new ideas to market by deeply understanding our customer's needs and iterating fast.
If you are aware of API Schemas like OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, gRPC etc., and love Postman Collections, this is an opportunity to build an API Designer that works closely with Collections and these specifications to help customers design good and secure APIs in collaboration with other developers.

Build Postman’s API Design tools while contributing to rest of Postman’s API Platform
Rapidly construct functional prototypes to address both internal and external use-cases, driving our product’s evolution
Consistently deliver high-quality products, from design to implementation to release with little guidance from manager, teammates and partners from other cross-functional teams
Other major responsibilities include code reviews, product discussions, working with support teams and actively contributing to the platform's overall maturity.
You have at least 3 years experience of building Desktop and/or Web Applications. Proficiency with React.Js, Javascript/Typescript, node.js is a big plus.
You understand at a high level how different frontend, backend & Infra systems work together to run an application
You try to understand the 'why' behind business strategies and help in translating this understanding of 'why' and 'what' into actionable 'how' plans.
You love to solve difficult software problems and builds product features involving multiple services/systems.
