Java Team Lead
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Java Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of developers while driving the design and development of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Java, AWS, and microservices, with strong leadership skills to guide the team toward delivering state-of-the-art solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Design and develop enterprise-grade, high-volume web applications and platforms.
- Implement microservices in an AWS-based architecture using Java and Spring technologies.
- Oversee technical designs, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Requirements
Academic/Training
- Minimum Academic Training: Complete university education, equivalent to a university baccalaureate or higher.
- Primary Area of Training: Computer Science, Systems, or related Engineering.
- Secondary Area of Training: Software development, focused on Java and AWS.
Experience
- 6+ years in software development roles.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Team or Technical Lead.
- Proven experience designing and developing microservices in AWS-based architectures.
Technical Knowledge
- Must-have:
- Java, Spring.
- Microservice implementations in AWS.
- Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, Selenium.
Job Details
- Type of Contract: Indefinite.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (GMT-6).
- Work Modality: Fully remote position, 100% WFH (candidates must reside/travel within LATAM).
