POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate, Human Resource (HR) Operations will play a crucial role in assisting the HR Operations team with various administrative tasks and operational activities. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting recruitment processes, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring HR policies and procedures are consistently applied.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
- Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related communications.
- Update HR databases with employee information, changes, and performance evaluations.
- Generate basic HR reports as needed.
- Respond to general HR inquiries and provide support to employees on HR-related matters.
- Escalate complex issues to senior HR team members.
- Assist in ensuring HR policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with local labor laws.
- Help organize and coordinate employee training sessions as required.
- Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
- Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
- Four (4) year college degree.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Acceptable pre-employment assessment results.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
