The role:

As a Senior Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and playing a key role in ensuring the successful execution of client activities. You'll contribute to Burson's performance by supporting senior team members and leaders in managing client relationships, exceeding client expectations, generating new business, and developing high-performing teams. You'll also contribute to our corporate strategy and help ensure superior client service, a winning culture, and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Play an active role in supporting the senior team members in planning and quality implementation of PR initiatives for a group of accounts within time and budget constraints. 
  • Support the senior team in developing quality materials such as press releases, bylines, briefing books, etc.
  • Maintain relationships with prominent media members within and outside your clients' industries, staying current on any news that can benefit clients.
  • Be responsible for creating professional, actionable client-facing communications, status reports, campaign summary reports and general account activity reports.  
  • Participate in new business development, including brainstorming and research. 
  • Be an effective team player and contribute to an inclusive working environment that welcomes opinions, ideas and suggestions from all sources. 
  • Experience or interest in ESG issues is preferred.

 

Requirements

  • Degree qualifications with at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications/ public affairs in PR agency  
  • Great media relations with regional and local media across sectors  
  • Experience in dealing with cross-market counterparts is a plus 
  • Experience handling regional/international accounts is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese are essential.
