DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing mechanical system diagnostics & repair support to production departments which operate printing presses, converting, test & material handling equipment
- Building & installing machine upgrades and retrofits
- Moving equipment
- Provide support for a wide range of facility related needs
REQUIREMENTS & MUST HAVE
- Have 10+ years of experience in hands-on machine repair;
- Have their own tools basic mechanic tools;
- Be proficient reading CAD drawings, understand tolerances and be capable of measuring part dimensions;
- Have a working knowledge of manual machine tools for milling & turning;
- Be proficient in TIG & MIG welding. Sheet metal work is occasional but essential.
- Be comfortable working with contractors when needed for machinery and facility support.
- A working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting is not essential but is a plus.
