Brillio is seeking a passionate and results-driven Senior AEM Engineer. You will collaborate directly with customers and partners to deliver innovative solutions, leveraging Adobe's wide array of technologies. As a key member of our team, you’ll solve complex business challenges through technology and play an integral role in building, maintaining, and optimizing AEM-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain AEM solutions (Sites, Assets) with a focus on best practices.
Participate in Agile processes, including Sprint Ceremonies, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks with accurate estimates.
Ensure high standards of code quality, readability, maintainability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/QA) to manage dependencies.
Write JUnit test cases for unit testing and create detailed Low-Level Design Documentation.
Effectively communicate with customers to understand requirements and manage expectations regarding response times and issue resolutions.
Troubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve technical issues while identifying workarounds.
Integrate content-driven applications on AEM and with other systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in front-end technologies such as jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
Strong knowledge of back-end technologies including Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag Libraries, and JSTL, with experience in frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins) and code quality/security tools (SONAR).
Expertise in AEM development: Touch UI, Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, Sling Servlets, OSGi Components, and JCR Queries.
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle client interactions professionally.
Minimum 4 years of experience in AEM development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with AEM foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, Apache Sling, and Apache Felix frameworks.
Knowledge of the latest AEM features and distributed application development.
