Description:

In our organization, we optimize for quality, flow, and fast feedback, focusing on end-to-end ownership, continuous improvement, testing, monitoring, and experimentation. Our group banks will soon expand aggressively into Unsecured Lending, including Personal Loans and Credit Cards. We use the Pega Platform and Pega Customer Service for Financial Service, capitalizing on the Layer Cake architecture with enterprise and country-specific layers and applications. Our strategic pillars include improved efficiency and automation, extensive reuse, the adoption of Pega Process AI and GenAI, Process Mining, and Constellation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for application development working on PEGA 23.1 and above.
  • Work in small, highly collaborative agile teams with clear mission and ownership
  • Troubleshoot PEGA application issues and implement fixes.
  • Participate in design discussions and understand domain and requirements.
  • Contribute to Technical Specification Documents.
  • Implement performance improvement fixes.
  • Follow standard coding and testing procedures.
  • Analyze requirements and create quick prototypes.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams across geographies.
  • Perform show & tell and demo activities for stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
  • Align with Pega engineering community on best practices around approach, security, compliance, roadmap, and reliability.
  • Drive the technical direction of software features.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • A pragmatic mindset.
  • Experience in agile software engineering practices for the full development life cycle.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development. 2+ years’ experience working as a Pega developer.
  • Experience integrating Pega with other technology platforms. Knowledge of Pega implementation methodology.
  • Must have CSA certification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of BPM foundation for process improvements delivered using Pega application.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication skills)
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Understanding of system design and tuning for high performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Great problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture or message queue systems is a plus.
  • Professional experience working with cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Beneficial:

  •  Involved in architecture design and development of at least one PRPC project.
  •  Strong knowledge and experience with PRPC internals and product architecture.
  •  Deep knowledge of all Pega capabilities and technology components.
  •  Experience in Pega frameworks (Underwriting, CS, CRM).
  •  Strong debugging skills and experience with Connectors and Services (Email, REST, FILE, MQ, JMS, etc.).
  •  Ability to assist the Architect in design, integration, and estimates.
