Job Description:
Pay Range: $35hr - $40hr

Responsibilities:
  • We need support around our new VMware on-prem environment running Windows/Linux VMs.
  • Ability to meet requirements working with geographically distributed teams.
  • Under the general supervision of the Sr. Mgr. Information Technology, the System Administrator is responsible for administration and management of VMWare environments (on premise, small size).
  • This individual is a single point of contact for all VMware and O365 related issues and is responsible for identifying, tracking, and resolving technical issues.
  • As a liaison with multiple technical teams, this role is critical in providing accurate technical and functional feedback and soliciting input from the end-user community to ensure continuous improvements.
  • VMware administration.
  • O365/Exchange administration.
  • O365/Intune administration.
  • Keeping environments up-to-date.
  • Participation in new service implementations.
  • Writing technical documentation.
  • Participating in teams calls.
  • Building and fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders and third parties.
  • Documenting and communicating new processes and procedures across multiple teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supporting macOS, and Windows desktops in an enterprise environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supporting macOS laptops.
Required:
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Experience in O365 Administration.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts, such as VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
  • Experience in applying and maintaining security best practices in hybrid environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Keeping technical documentation up-to-date and knowledge sharing.
