Title: Radiology Tech / MRI Tech / Ultrasound Tech / CT tech ( (Lead) / Supervisor roles Available)Location: Richmond, VA 23235Duration: PermanentShift: Fulltime (Days ; Evening ; overnight ; 3 12's Weekend) Salary range: Based on years of experience. *WILL TAKE NEW GRADS* Day (Monday - Friday) 9a-5p - YES ON CALL - MRI Tech Supervisor Job Description: - Demonstrates competence in following established scanning protocols and exercise's ability to adjust protocols as required.
- Ensures patient safety by screening for contraindications such as, but not limited to, cardiac pacemakers, sheet metal fragments, shrapnel, jewelry, wallet, metal prosthesis, etc.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations (i.e. Meditech and PACS). Ensure proper charges are entered and referring physicians' orders are verified.
- Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reviews each exam for technical accuracy (i.e. technical quality, anatomical positioning, annotation, etc.) and completes verification process in PACS.
- Completes and maintains educational requirements.
- Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patient information according to Policy and Procedure.
Education: - Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
Licensure/certification: - American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
