Job Title: Global Sales Manager (seafood) - Remote in the US

Location: Remote in the US

The Opportunity

We are seeking ambitious and energetic Sales Managers to assist us in engaging with regional importers, wholesalers, and retailers of seafood products in the US. The role will involve discovering new opportunities for global seafood sales in North America consisting of importing container loads of seafood to various key accounts, and establishing partnerships with both existing and new buyers while maintaining sustainable business relationships. You will coordinate with various departments including logistics, quality control, back office, marketing, and accounting, as well as liaise with external service providers such as 3rd party inspectors, stakeholders, and banks. If you are motivated, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, this is your perfect role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research and develop new potential key buyers.
  • Work with existing buyers across the country.
  • Nurture excellent relationships with buyers with the aim of developing long-term relationships.
  • Manage lead times, logistics, and quality processes.
  • Negotiate and set up contracts and agree on KPIs.
  • Research local products with strong demand (import potential) and report to Tridge HQ, Korea.

Preferred backgrounds:

  • At least 3 years of experience in seafood sourcing or sales, trade, and supply chain management is a must.
  • Experience managing quality inspection and logistics processes.
  • Language proficiency: Bilingual or native English level.
  • Excellent trading skills and detailed documentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of global seafood market, regulations and certificates.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit as well as managerial skills.
  • Networker, ‘people business’ type.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Stress resistant, can handle the imperfections of others, reflective, self-critical, solution driven, achiever.

Employment type: Contractor for the first three months, followed by transition to regular employment according to US standards (option to remain as a contractor if desired).
