Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Events will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing a comprehensive events strategy for Precision AQ. This role focuses on industry conferences, trade shows, webinars and other industry-related events to enhance brand presence, generate leads, and foster relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event management, excellent organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth through successful event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement an integrated event strategy aligned with company goals and marketing objectives.
- Identify key industry events, trade shows, and conferences that align with business priorities and target audiences.
- Create and manage a detailed events calendar.
- Conference and Trade Show Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of company participation in major conferences and trade shows.
- Coordinate booth design, layout, and logistics, ensuring a professional and engaging presence.
- Manage event registration for staff.
- Lead creative booth activations to drive traffic and engagement in the booth.
- Develop pre-event and post event marketing campaigns to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Create post event reports and briefs to document leads, ROI and CRM metrics.
- Webinar and Virtual Event Coordination:
- Plan and execute a series of webinars to engage with clients and prospects.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop relevant and compelling content.
- Manage webinar platform, registrations, and technical logistics.
- Analyze webinar performance and audience engagement, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with BD, marketing, and product teams to align event strategies with business objectives.
- Partner with external vendors, event organizers, and sponsors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry associations and key influencers.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor expenses and negotiate with vendors to optimize event spend.
- Provide regular reports on event ROI, including lead generation, attendee feedback, and overall impact.
Measures of Success:
- Lead Generation: Achieve or exceed lead generation targets from events, measured by the number and quality of leads generated.
- Budget Adherence: Successfully manage event budgets, ensuring events are executed within or under budget without compromising quality.
- ROI Analysis: Demonstrate a positive return on investment for all events through detailed post-event report, including metrics such as new business opportunities, sales conversions, and overall attendee satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of satisfaction among internal and external stakeholders, including positive feedback from event participants and partners.
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously introduce innovative ideas and improvements to the event strategy, leveraging new technologies and best practices to enhance event effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Minimum 7 yrs of event management experience, preferably in healthcare industry
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with virtual event platforms and understanding of webinar best practices.
- Willingness to travel as needed for event planning and execution (approximately 10%).
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or other relevant field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in healthcare/pharma industry.
- Familiarity of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience with On24.
- Understanding and experience with project management platforms (Asana, Workfront, Teams, etc)

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
