Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model. Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States or Canada, and, depending on business needs, they must meet in person for collaboration weeks, traveling if necessary to the hub(s) where their team is based.

This flexible approach gives team members the best of both worlds: plenty of focus time along with in-person collaboration that fosters trust and unlocks creativity.

The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our Sales team. This person will be responsible for driving net new sales and subsequent expansion sales, with a focus on named accounts in the region. As one of Grammarly’s first Enterprise Account Executives, this person will trailblaze some of Grammarly’s largest deals by landing new logos and formalizing enterprise-wide relationships with companies with hundreds or thousands of team members using Grammarly.

Grammarly’s go-to-market teams are shaping the future of workplace communication. As a member of our team, you will be crucial in expanding the use of our innovative, trustworthy AI writing tools. We strive to ensure that every organization can communicate effectively and efficiently. If you are passionate about transforming the way professionals connect and collaborate, we would love to hear from you.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will work with leadership to unlock new relationships at large institutions and evolve Grammarly’s Education revenue engine. You’ll have a named set of accounts to work from, in addition to inbound sales opportunities. You’ll also have support from our growing Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to maximize the value and success of your efforts.

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate sales excellence by leading Grammarly’s revenue motions.
  • Get creative with marketing and sales-ecosystem resources.
  • Prove and refine a next-generation sales approach for large deals.
  • Help refine the messaging and positioning of G4E to best support sales.
  • Inform the product roadmap for G4E to unlock faster growth.
  • Join a rapidly growing sales organization.

Qualifications

  • Has 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Is passionate about building a team from the ground up.
  • Has experience selling at the C-level, preferably in higher education in North America.
  • Understands a multi-threaded, consultative sales approach.
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with a focus on attention to detail throughout the unique procurement process in higher education.
  • Relentlessly sets and pursues short- and long-term goals.
  • Identifies opportunities and works through challenges.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Can effectively leverage in-house expert knowledge to close deals.
  • Can accurately make monthly and quarterly sales commits and projections.
  • Is comfortable closing a large variety of deals.
  • Embodies our EAGER values—is ethical, adaptable, gritty, empathetic, and remarkable.
  • Is inspired by our MOVE principles: move fast and learn faster; obsess about creating customer value; value impact over activity; and embrace healthy disagreement rooted in trust.
  • Is able to meet in person for their team’s scheduled collaboration weeks, traveling if necessary to the hub where their team is based.
