Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (Receptionist) is responsible for greeting and assisting guests in the facility, answering incoming phone calls, and the inputting of registration and participant data into the RecTrac system.
*This is a part-time weekday position with hours of 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, 5 days a week. *
Essential Functions:
1. Work with recreation staff preparing mailings and projects involving programming.
2. Responsible for inputting of registration and participant data as well as updating of program data on RecTrac.
3. Sort, date and distribute incoming mail.
4. Provide park district information or direct inquiries over the phone and at the front counter.
5. Process and input registration in RecTrac.
6. Assist in keeping all filing and files up to date.
7. Assist staff with operation of copiers, duplicators, postage machine, and any other office machines as needed.
8. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the proper staff.
9. Process requests for special programs: Performing Arts ticket sales, senior citizen fundraisers, etc.
10. Process Dog Park passes.
11. Makes recommendations and works to ensure that the Park District is in compliance with all ADA guidelines for registration, programs and facilities.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate required.
Two years of customer service experience required.
Starting Salary:
$16 + Depending on Qualifications
