Manager, Global Workday Data Management Audit and Reporting 


Team and Process Management
(60% of time) 

  • Train and mentor Analysts and Coordinators who are responsible for the accurate maintenance of the data in Workday as well as data gathered and tracked in Google forms and sheets
  • Provide direction, counsel and set goals for career growth and development.  Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and supported.
  • Identify opportunities, create, and implement programs to improve the effectiveness of data management record keeping and support processes.  Drive a strong level of customer service.
  • Ensure business requirements from the internal People team and external business groups are met.
  • Develop cross-training program for team; provide backup for team members during times of high volume workload or when out of the office
  • Ensure local People Team business processes meet regulatory compliance with respect to record mgmt (electronic and paper when applicable) and comply with SOX audit control points 
  • Manage relationship with 20+ different country payrolls including business process / payroll data transfers to facilitate smooth data transition from HR to payroll
  • Take ownership of and ensure integrity of People data through regular audits; troubleshoot irregularities; partner with team to research, correct discrepancies, and ensure compliance
  • Write and leverage Workday reports as needed to audit the quality of data entry
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system procedures and functions.
  • Serve as department People data business process liaison to Staffing, HR Analytics, HR Ops, IT, Payroll, Finance, Stock Admin, etc.
  • Collaborate with regional People Ops and People Partner team members to ensure process consistency across regions
  • Identify opportunities, create, and implement processes and programs to improve the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports
  • Monitor progress of daily integrations and provide support for troubleshooting as required; escalate issues to IT or appropriate integration support resources  
  • Support Workday EIB load process and perform uploads as required
  • As a part of the HR Operations leadership team, work with other managers to plan resources, develop and implement team programs, establish and monitor policy application for consistency, etc.
  • Ensure the team maintains the intranet “The Cube” with up-to-date process information 

 

Projects and Reporting (40% of time)

  • Drive Worldwide Data integrity programs including developing new audits to capture data errors
  • Drive the development, approval, and documentation of global business processes leveraging partnerships with subject matter experts in all regions (EMEA, APAC, and Americas)
  • Manage/participate on project teams for upgrades, new module roll-out, data loads (requirement gathering, business process review, project management, testing, documentation, communication, etc.) 
  • Manage/participate on project teams related to employee data interfaces to key company systems (Payroll, AD, Stock Admin, IT, Facilities, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain training materials for all team processes 
  • Create Workday reports and partner with business groups that need Rubrikan data for projects (Recognition, Stock Admin, Finance, Exec Admins, IT, etc.)
  • Monitor self-service adoption and develop innovative ways to streamline processes and education to increase adoption.  Develop instructions for Manager and Rubrikan Self-Service data updates

Position Requirements 

  • B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or related area
  • 6+ yrs HR / HRIS experience, including 3+ years of team management experience
  • Expertise in Workday HR including Workday Report Writing and Google Forms (Workday payroll / other Payroll Systems a plus)
  • Expert Google Sheets and/or Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, and Finance business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies. 
  • Strong HRIS and business process change project management experience
  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment where multitasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
  • Ability to motivate direct reports and others by providing an environment that promotes individual growth and reinforces Rubrik’s RIVET values and culture
