About the role

We seek a highly skilled Automation Quality Engineer to join our dynamic Learn Team at DataCamp. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our testing processes and tools, ensuring our web applications are of the highest quality. The Learning platform is central to DataCamp's mission, and your contributions will be critical in helping learners achieve their educational goals.

As a member of the Learn Team, you will collaborate with talented engineers to develop comprehensive automated tests, address testing gaps, and improve the overall quality of our products. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of the education our users receive, making a tangible difference in their learning journeys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web applications using TypeScript, ReactJS, GraphQL, and NodeJS.
• Collaborate with product engineers to identify and address testing gaps.
• Enhance and optimize testing frameworks and tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
• Mentor team members on best practices in automation testing.

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance using TypeScript, ReactJS, GraphQL, and NodeJS, on both frontend and backend applications.
• You have experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• You have experience in performance and security testing.
• You have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• You are highly organized, have a flexible, can-do attitude, and are willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems, attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
• You are interested in data science, artificial intelligence, and education.
