The role focuses on implementing Sandstone Technology's BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP). The candidate will be responsible for leading the design, integration, and deployment of BXP, ensuring that it aligns with business goals. The role requires technical leadership and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Implementation Projects: Oversee the lifecycle of BXP implementation from requirements to post-launch support.
- Architect Solutions: Design scalable and secure solutions within BXP to optimize performance for business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor an engineering team to drive successful project outcomes.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate BXP with existing systems and third-party services.
- Customization: Tailor the platform to meet specific business needs with custom components and features.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to enhance the user experience.
- Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment for high-quality deliverables.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with Sandstone Technology and other digital banking platforms to recommend enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years in software engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience with Sandstone Technology's BankFast eXperience Platform (BXP).
- Experience in leading technical teams and delivering digital banking projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Angular, React).
- Knowledge of API development, microservices, and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Extensive experience with BXP, including customization and integration.
- Deep understanding of digital banking solutions, customer onboarding, loan origination, and other financial products.
- Ability to lead and inspire engineering teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading Agile teams.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other digital banking platforms and technologies.
- Certification or training in Sandstone Technology products.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in digital banking.
