eCommerce Assistant

Our client is Australia's largest provider of aesthetic and medical-grade technology. They deliver cutting-edge treatment technology, skincare, accessories, and business support to over 4,500 stockists across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

They are now looking to hire a eCommerce Assistant with strong copywriting experience as an addition to their growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

1) eCommerce Sales & Promotion

  • Assist the eCommerce Coordinator with ongoing monitoring of budgeted sales.
  • Assist the eCommerce Coordinator in assessing stock movement on an ongoing basis to identify slow/fast sellers and take necessary action to maximise sales.
  • Assist the eCommerce Coordinator in developing email and social media campaigns to maximise shop sales and drive traffic acquisition.
  • Create, split test, and regularly seek to improve client flows (including abandoned cart, device owner, compatible products, repeat purchase, $ value off, etc.) with the support of the eCommerce Coordinator and marketing departments to maximise sales and drive traffic acquisition.
  • Regularly update shop banners, pop-ups, page headings, and other prompts to increase site traffic and purchases of priority products.
  • Collaborate with Skin Care AM to review stock (SOH) for expiry date and excess and develop exclusive promotions for selected skincare tiers.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain to review stock on hand (SOH) and par-stock levels, ensuring it meets customer demand and projected sales.
  • Work collaboratively with Supply Chain to review stock on hand (SOH) and par-stock levels, ensuring any soon-to-expire stock is prioritised in promotions to avoid any stock expiry.
  • In collaboration with Supply Chain and Finance, forecast stock requirements to ensure customer orders can be filled.

2) eCommerce Content Management

  • Support the eCommerce Coordinator, accurately update eCommerce back-end (Shopify) as required, which consists of all shop products, descriptions, pricing, categories, and subcategories.
  • Support the eCommerce Coordinator, and regularly monitor content to ensure all prices, pictures, and descriptions are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Ensure brand integrity with detailed and accurate product descriptions and pricing, with attention to detail on spelling, grammar, and product information.
  • Support the eCommerce Coordinator, and source all images required for the eCommerce, including sourcing directly from suppliers in the first instance or engaging a professional photographer.
  • Create coupon codes/discount codes and promotions and follow the agreed-upon coupon code process to ensure their compliance and provide a positive client experience.
  • Create, edit, and monitor Klaviyo flows with dynamic coupon codes. This includes creating sales-tailored credit codes for AMs and Marketing (before and Afters) with the approval of the eCommerce Coordinator.
  • Where applicable, update delivery information, terms and conditions, and returns policy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues on the website quickly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues relating to payment gateways on the website

3) eCommerce Client Management

  • Answer general and potential client enquiries on the B2B and B2C online shops.
  • Urgently troubleshoot identified issues, ensuring a positive customer experience that reflects the client's Mission to ‘make people feel wonderful’.
  • Gathering routine feedback from customers who order online to understand their overall experience, such as ease of use, navigation, etc, to assist in identifying opportunities to improve customer experience.
  • Generating positive client product reviews through Yotpo and ensuring they are included on the online shop website.
  • Oversee that shop users are added, amended, and deleted promptly.
  • Manage communications, process changes, and services related to e-commerce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce or related roles, preferably within the beauty, skincare, or technology industry.
  • Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain brand voice and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including email and social media campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess stock movement and identify opportunities for sales optimization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Familiarity with customer service principles and experience responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot website and payment gateway issues.
  • Experience managing product listings, descriptions, and pricing on eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with Yotpo or similar review management platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of B2B and B2C eCommerce best practices and trends.
  • Knowledge of skincare products and industry trends is advantageous.
