JOB DESCRIPTION
- Hands on support for setting up, tearing down, and running battery shock and vibration, electrical, and thermal testing
- Perform calibration and maintenance of instrumentation, test measurement and diagnostic equipment to support the testing requirements of team
- Serve as resource to team on troubleshooting equipment, calibration and measurement
- Speak up for safety issues and read across activities for actions and cases
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all procedures performed
- Participate in design of tests and validation assessments and support development of detailed test outlines and methods
- Provide detailed reports documenting all findings and conclusions.
- Instrument cells, modules, and packs for special testing working with battery assembly lines to build instrumented modules/packs. Occasionally travel between locations to support special instrumentation assignments
An ideal candidate comes to work every day with a good attitude and ready to work. This candidate is experienced working with hand tools and generic low voltage electrical wiring. This candidate would be detailed oriented and able to manage changing priorities. Working in an automotive lab testing environment is preferred, but not required.
