Financial Analyst
Location: Columbus, IN (commutable from Indianapolis)
Compensation: $76k annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 for strong candidates.
Relocation: Relocation package or lump sum available.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience in cost accounting.
- Background in manufacturing finance.
- Proficiency in payroll management.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations: Assist with all financial functions within the manufacturing facility, including purchasing, receiving, production, shipping, and inventory control. Ensure the accuracy of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
- Forecasting & Resource Allocation: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts for operating expenses and capital expenditures, aiding management in resource allocation.
- Payroll Processing: Process and review weekly payroll timecards for accuracy.
- AP & Invoice Management: Resolve open receipts and invoice issues, ensuring timely payments.
- Month-End Close: Prepare and enter journal entries during the month-end close process.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain and enhance current control environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Inventory Management: Support company asset protection through routine cycle counts, periodic physical inventory checks, and fixed asset controls.
- Capital Expenditure Requests: Coordinate the preparation of CERs, work with project managers to quantify acceptable investment levels and financial returns, monitor capital project spending, and close projects on time.
- Collaboration: Work with plant and divisional personnel on budgeting, cost reduction strategies, and comparison of actual results to plans.
- Expense Monitoring: Track all spending, reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual results to management, and use a "checkbook" approach to meet expense targets.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in the month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
