What you'll do
Clean and transform data for analytical use:
- Develop and implement processes to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure it is ready for analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with reliable datasets.
- Design and implement data models and aggregated history tables for all major KPI’s and user history.
- Design and implement data models that support business needs and analytics requirements.
Maintain data documentation and definitions:
- Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including data dictionaries, schemas, and metadata.
- Ensure that data definitions are consistent and easily accessible to all stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability:
- Implement automated data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
- Monitor data pipelines and systems to ensure high availability and performance alongside our data engineer.
- Help the game teams and analysts in designing the events that our games log as well as their associated triggers
Share best practices across the organization:
- Promote a culture of data excellence by sharing best practices and providing training.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics and share knowledge with the team.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable analytics code using best practices.
- Conduct code and SQL reviews and provide feedback to ensure high standards of code quality within the team.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Architect, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
- Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, DBT etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). GCP is a big plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry is a plus.

It’s a physical representation of our games – the lush vegetation of Just Cause and theHunter: Call of the Wild meets corroded metal straight out of Mad Max. It has everything you need to make it your creative base camp.
