What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, ECE, Computer Science
- 6+ years’ experience demonstrating proficiency in ABAP, ABAP OO (certifications highly regarded).
- 2+ years development experience with Fiori, ODATA, SAP UI5.
- 2+ years’ experience with idoc integrations
- 2+ years’ supporting manufacturing industry within SAP ERP desirable.
- ECC & S4 experience
- Experience with developing CDS views.
- Expirence in ABAP workbench
- ABAP Objects
- 3+ years’ in web services (SOAP/REST/HTTP POST)
- 3+ web development – PHP, HTML, XSLT, XML, JSON.
- 3+ Years’ integration experiences (PI/PO, Cloud Integration), SAP IDoc.
- Understand ERP modular integration points between Accounts Payable, Production Planning and Sales & Distribution (cross domain experiences valued).
- Experience with SAP Data Migration and Interfaces including, SAP Query, DX Workbench, LSMW, Migration Workbench and other data management tools.
What will you do?
- To provide input into the design of SAP enhancements and roll outs, offering advice and thoughts and providing feedback.
- To develop quality code and associated documentation adhering to team and departmental development standards.
- Interface with functional teams to facilitate process improvement and develop new functionality.
- To provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking and resolution.
- End to end development, translate business and functional requirements into technical design, develop, unit test and document solutions that align to SAP best practices and standards of the industry.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes, procedures and technical standards related to SAP development to ensure quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Research, develop, maintain and troubleshoot existing SAP applications and integrations.
- Develop, implement and support SAP workflows, reports, integrations, enhancements and forms.
- Apply technical updates (maintenance), proactively identify opportunities to optimize and reduce technical debt.
- Support end-users Acceptance testing activities and participate in Production operations and release management support.
- Assist with upgrades, new releases and performance monitoring.
- Stay up to date with new SAP technologies and best practice, achieve and maintain appropriate certifications.
- Mentor and coach junior developers.
