The role

You will be responsible for running day-to-day operations for our HQ and local team and contributing to the growth of the regional accounting function. You will not only ensure timely preparation of our payable / receivable function across our entities. You will also help to drive the improvement of accounting best practices in all operating entities.

Main responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operations and activities in finance department
• Perform (Accounts Payable) AP and AR (Accounts Receivable)

Requirements

You should have / be

• A passion for all things accounting and finance
• An ability to think & work strategically and systematically
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think out of the box
• A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidate must possess/is undergoing at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet
• Preferably specialised in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent
• Able to speak English, Bahasa Malaysia – Cantonese is a plus!

• Minimum commitment of 5 to 6 months
• Internship level salary and benefits provided
• Commencement period: ASAP
