THMC - Family Physicians - (Sky Clinic, Calgary, AB) - TELUS Health MyCare

TELUS Health MyCare Sky clinic at TELUS Sky: 685 Centre St S, Calgary, AB, is looking for Family Medicine Physicians to become a part of our brand new clinic located in the iconic TELUS Sky building, right in the heart of downtown Calgary.

The clinic is professionally managed to provide the highest quality service with advanced technology, EMR, and telemedicine capabilities thereby improving efficiency and patient care. An experienced administrative and clinical leadership team and medical office assistants will support daily reception coverage, scheduling, billing, and patient flow. Exam rooms are fully stocked, equipped, bright and spacious.

The ability to work from home in combination with onsite treatment provides flexibility and work-life balance. Real-time access to clinic physicians, other family physicians, and pharmacists provides opportunities for collaboration, professional growth, and development. Patients can conveniently access MyCare therapists and dieticians virtually through the MyCare app.

The TELUS Sky building is a state-of-the-art, architecturally renowned structure, offering a modern and vibrant work environment. With its innovative design and sustainable features, it provides an inspiring space for both patients and healthcare professionals. The building's central location ensures easy access to public transit, dining, and cultural attractions, making it an ideal setting for both professional growth and personal enjoyment.

Qualifications:

• All physicians must be licensed and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Must hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) for family physicians.
• Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice

Additional Features & Remuneration:

• Payment structure is fee-for-service, competitive split arrangement
• Competitive overhead covers (rent, office insurance, equipment & supplies, EMR, internet, Chromebook, staff & IT support, billing services)
• $10,000 signing incentive for a 3-day per week commitment
• CME Education/ Training fund $1000/year for physicians working minimum 3 days a week
• Access to a fully equipped on-site gym to support your health and fitness goals
• Billing mentorship to optimize and maximize FFS billing
• The clinic uses Collaborative Health Record (CHR) EMR and offers billing support to maximize your earnings.
• Hours of work are flexible weekday shifts for in-clinic practice combined with ability to work virtually.
