Description:
Perform business requirement analysis while managing the technical design and development of data warehousing and analytical reporting solutions tailored to meet organizational and enterprise wide objectives.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed business requirements gathering and analysis, providing guidance to business contacts on best practice and technical solution considerations.
Manage medium to large projects in the arena of business analytics and data warehousing, ensuring adherence to defined project management principles and guidelines.
Design reporting solutions which provide key performance metrics and analytical capabilities to facilitate business decision making.
Act as technical subject matter expert on key business processes, providing guidance on how these processes are managed in the various transactional systems.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to facilitate technical solutions to complex business problems.
Education
Minimum Qualifications:• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent as relevant to discipline.
• Experience with various Reporting platforms (including, but not limited to Cognos, Business Objects) • Experience with Relational Database Management System development (including, but not limited to MS SQL Server, Oracle) • Experience with Multidimensional Database Management System development (including, but not limited to Essbase, Cognos) • 5+ years of experience in information systems
