FIELD SERVICE CONTROLS ENGINEER

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES REQUIRED:

PLC Programming – Require knowledge of siemens &/ Or Rockwell:

Siemens Software - Simatic Manager, TIA Portal, Wincc Flexible, Starter
Rockwell Software- RxLogix 5000, Factory Talk

CNC Programming- Require knowledge of siemens 840DSL programming for gantry application.

Robot Programming- Require knowledge of Fanuc/ ABB robot with DCS & Safemove programming certifications.

Vision Programming: Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc Vision (2D, 3D, 3DL, 3DV), ABB Flex Vision.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in electrical, instrumentation or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years' experience with PLC, HMI, CNC, Robots, and Motion Control programming.
The application-specific experience is required for the following application

Material Handling Conveyor Systems
Robotics System with Material Handling
Gantry System

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must have knowledge of reading, controls and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of sensors used in industrial automation

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide support for the Integration as well the site testing.
Provide emergency service support for the WP projects.
Perform system installation, safety implementation, and sequence testing to ensure system integration and safety programming are activated and working properly.
Assist service and engineering with the field installation and test of new control systems.
Provide production support & support to complete open issues on site.
Interfaces with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products, especially about problem diagnosis and resolution.
Travel 50% required.
Respond to service calls to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair programming and system failures.
