About The Role:
The Senior Product Owner works across the finance and sales teams to improve and support financial systems. They support critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of NetSuite while also supporting company needs. This role is highly focused on ensuring day-to-day tactical functionality of NetSuite including Order-to-Cash, Revenue Recognition and documentation. The ideal candidate will have very strong technical skills (understanding of integrations, SuiteScript, workflows, data migration and extraction) as well as a functional understanding of the NetSuite environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work in an Agile environment and understand business priorities
- Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPI's, and dashboards
- Lead and manage UAT sessions, including documenting feedback and bugs
- Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change control and customizations that meet SOX compliance requirements
- Research issues and complete requests from the JIRA board as assigned by the team leadership
- Coordination of system enhancements, large project initiatives, and Mergers & Acquisitions integration
- Help the financial systems team with testing and deployment of workflows and customizations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality and customizations
- Keep projects organized and communicate requirements and changing deadlines to fintech team members and key stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years demonstrated experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite
- Minimum 5+ years experience specifically related to O2C/rev rec ie on advanced revenue management, ASC 606, revenue recognition, etc
- Attention to detail and ability to review peer work products
- Aptitude for understanding and troubleshooting technical problems and integration errors
- Expert-level knowledge of NetSuite database/table structure, JavaScript/SuiteScript 1.0 / 2.0, web services (SOAP / REST), custom objects and workflows, SQL knowledge a plus.
- Working knowledge of CSV imports, user provisioning, defining roles, analytics and scheduling scripts
- Advanced spreadsheet analysis such as v-lookup, index/match, and pivot tables
- Working knowledge of multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and multi-book features within NetSuite
- Ability to draft, review, and modify workflows using Suiteflow within NetSuite
- Exposure to environments that use integrations (such as Mulesoft, Celigo, or Dell Boomi) to NetSuite and other systems as well as experience in monitoring and resolving errors
- Experience with advanced Saved Search functionality and formulas
- Exposure to SAP, BRIM, Adaptive Insights, Avalara, TR OneSource, Coupa, Expensify, FloQast, Stripe/SuiteSync integration, Tesorio or similar systems is preferred
