Radiant Industries is an El Segundo, CA-based startup developing Kaleidos, a portable, containerized nuclear microreactor. Portable nuclear power with rapid deploy capability can replace diesel generators used today to provide critical asset support for hospitals, datacenters, and military bases or to power microgrids at remote sites. Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development utilizes modern software engineering to rapidly achieve safe, factory-constructable microreactors leveraging existing, well-qualified materials. Radiant is on a fast track to demonstrate the first fueled operation of a new commercial nuclear reactor design, just two years from now.
Reliability Engineer
Radiant is seeking a driven, organized Reliability Engineer to manage the integration of hardware systems with customer requirements and regulation. This role is critical to bringing the world’s first portable nuclear microreactor to commercialization in a timely manner. You will work directly with all engineering disciplines to influence the full hardware lifecycle by providing critical feedback in design reviews, build reviews, and test campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for reliability engineers who enjoy both technical work and operational execution. You will have a direct impact on bringing the safest microreactor to market the fastest.
