The Work You'll Do

Sovos is seeking a Senior Renewals Manager to join our newly created Renewals organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing renewals for SaaS customer accounts, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This is a quota-carrying individual contributor role.

More specifically, you will: 

• Develop Internal and External Relationships:
• Cultivate relationships with key stake holders within our Customers
• Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success to build comprehensive account plans
• Implement Renewals Best Practices:
• Implement industry best practices to enhance the overall customer experience during renewal
• Drive Renewal Upsell Opportunities:
• Proactively identify and capitalize on renewal upsell opportunities within assigned territories
• Manage Negotiations and Account Issues:
• Lead negotiations with customers to ensure successful renewals
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve any account issues impacting renewal
• Provide Operational Excellence:
• Ensure operational excellence throughout the renewal process
• Maintain tactical awareness and address any challenges promptly
• Forecasting and Delivery:
• Maintain predictability in forecasting and delivering against targets
• Strive to exceed expectations in all aspects of renewal management
• Proficiency in Learning and Adaptation:
• Demonstrate proficiency in learning new systems
• Navigate through change effectively and quickly ramp up on new product offerings

What We Ask of You 

• 10 + years of experience in renewals management or account management in the software industry, specifically focusing on SaaS solutions and services
• Proven track record of achieving sales or renewal quotas, particularly for SaaS Renewals
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and Salesforce CRM is a plus
• Experience advocating for clients while ensuring company policies are upheld
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• Effective at handling difficult situations and resolving issues promptly and effectively
• Experience balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders within tight timelines and resource constraints
• Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire

What Does Sovos Offer You?

At Sovos, we are committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect both industry and market standards.   

We expect that this role will pay a base salary ranging between $72,000 to $90,000 annually; with a target annual commission range of $30,000 to $40,000.   Our quota carrying sales roles offer uncapped commission opportunities, which will impact the total compensation one will earn each year.  Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.  Our quota carrying team members in our go to market organization also have the chance to earn additional incentives, including a trip to President’s Club.
