POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Minor League Baseball Technology Operator will be a member of the Baseball Technology team and

is responsible for collecting data and operating performance technology at the Salem Red Sox. This

individual will collaborate closely with the Video & Technology Associate, as well as the Press Box staff.

We expect you to be available, in-person, and available on weekends to operate KinaTrax / TrackMan for

3-4 home games per homestand. This role pays $15 per hour and will not exceed 35 hours per week. Hours will vary based on team schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect TrackMan data by utilizing their provided tagging software, properly tagging pitch types and game flow.
Collect KinaTrax data by utilizing their provided tagging software, ensuring our metadata is correct and the video clips a proper duration.
Interact with the Video & Technology Associate before, during, and after the game to ensure all our data is precise and accurate.
We expect proper press box etiquette, and in return will provide a learning opportunity for the chosen candidates.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong administrative skills; organized, proactive, and strong communication skills.
Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Prior experience in baseball/softball is preferred.
