Paramedic Part Time

Lifecare Ambulance is looking to hire part-time Paramedics for their southwest operations division. Lifecare Paramedics are skilled, friendly, and professional - we pride ourselves on the character and caliber of our employees.

Our paramedics deliver basic and advanced life support under direction of medical control, ensuring proper treatment is given, keeping confidential the nature of his/her dealings with the patient while following the policies and procedures of the various medical control boards and LifeCare Ambulance, medical protocols and state and local regulations.

Job Duties

• Maintain high clinical standards in all aspects of care.

• Safely drive and operate ambulances.

• Provide basic life support, including CPR, airway, suction, oxygen application, bleeding control, splinting, bandaging, etc.

• Provide convalescent care, including transporting sick, injured, and convalescent patients to and from medical facilities.

• Proficiently and safely perform patient handling, including stretcher operations, lifting, and loading.

• Treat patients with compassion and respect.

• Interact professionally and courteously with patients, family members, facility staff, and co-workers.

High School Diploma/GED

Valid Drivers License

Valid State of Michigan Paramedic License

Able to pass a company sponsored drug screen and physical

Able to pass a company sponsored criminal background check/driver's license check
